They covered outsourcing in the quarterly dept. meeting the other day. No new layoffs are planned, but as the business picks up all the new work will be in other countries. The estimate is that 5 people will be hired here (after layoffs of a couple thousand) to replace a few positions where people left or were promoted. The rest of new positions will be in the new global organization. Most of the meeting was to describe the rather complicated org chart. TP
