Your issue is ratification of a decade old document whereas Kerry wants to do the practical thing of negotiation. I don't know, you don't know and apparently no one knows what needs to be done to prevent the poisoning of the earth.

Therefore, it's important to fund research into this on the assumption that we are doing not-good-things that can be corrected. If it turns out that it's just a normal weather related thing and that pumping out emissions, etc. has no real effect then that conclusion would be great.

I find it hard to believe that 6.5 billion of us spewing processed stuff into the air, soil and water has no effect on the earth but I'm open to factual correction. Bush simply made a molecule a non polluter and, with the stroke of a pen and unbridled ignorance and arrogance, magically made the world cleaner...ridiculous.
