Steve, RE: "try answering the question."

Because you would need to earn a million per year in dividends to have the lower rate.

Bush created a two-tiered society. The middle isn't the place to be.

It's as simple as that.

Don't get stuck in the middle, when under Bush.

Also, while Kerry thinks growth is more important, Bush prefers old, stodgy companies.

This is why Bush made dividends essentially tax free. Meanwhile, you are stuck in your hightech investments, focused on growth. Your growth investments may do better when Kerry gets in office - Kerry is promoting growth companies and a no cap gains tax for startups, while Bush prefers dividends and no growth stodgy companies.

RE: "While you're here, explain why you receive minority small business benefits that I don't. Looks like racism to me. Steve"

Maybe it looks like racism if a poster repeatedly denigrates an individual's success:

No, I have not received any perks, and I didn't go the SBA way. Instead, I raised capital.

Sorry you struggle with that concept.

PS By the way, I never declared my race on SI, but don't let that from stopping you from making your presumptions.
