Anindo and I are seeing a little improvement in jobs in Silicon Valley but it looks like the midwest might bring us down. If we get another bad jobs report on friday the markets will fall again imo. If we get close to 100K, (which really isn't even all that great) I say a decent rally from here.

But perhaps more worrying for those banking on the kind of pick-up in hiring that has so far eluded the broader economy, the employment component of the Chicago Purchasing Management Index dropped sharply. It fell to just 49.2 from 54.8 in February, its highest reading since April 1998.

hey software is finally looking a little better. I think it might be because call centers are starting to come back with all this outsourcing backlash. Call centers were a goldmine for software.
