Actually the group that you call the "extreme left" is made up of a lot of us that used to be apolitical or moderate. And the "extreme left's visceral hatred of America [that] makes them all brothers under the skin," is really not "extreme" or motivated by "visceral hatred." It's simply a detestation of shortsighted, counterproductive policies that result in wasted lives and resources.

I, for one, don't question your loyalty or "Americanism." Intellectual and objective insight into issues that the far right decides with the emotional thinking of anger, pride, greed, and bigotry leaves us with far different views on most issues, but we're all Americans who want the best for America. If you want to call those that differ on those issues antiAmerican, then you don't understand the first thing about being an American.

That's as simple as I can make it. Think it over.

You are right about that. About the anti-US agenda, you are absolutely wrong. Do you consider John Kerry as someone who loves the US or do you consider Bush as someone who loves the US. Both have opposite political ideologies.
