Several of those articles were from the NYT, Le Monde, La Figaro--just because truthout reposted them (in a couple of cases), and the poster used that link instead of the original doesn't mean that truthout was responsible for the content. They collect articles that they like and put them on their site. True, others were "truthout correspondents," but just going by skimming them, they were clearly opinion pieces, not pretending to be objective news, but pretending to be "truth." The piece from moveon that you linked to was obviously an announcement, not news. If he prohibited truthout on the ground that they are "pure left," then he would have to prohibit almost every magazine or journal cited here--including ones like the National Review.

There really is a difference between newsmax and National Review, IMHO.
