I didn't need a booming voice from above. The silence from the media after all of the anti-Semitism hoopla is deafening. What makes you think his voice booms? And they do not in any way disparage JC; they simply suggest that the film is flawed. Speaking of flawed, have you seen the latest National Enquirer? There was a woman interviewed who said she had an affair with Mel Gibson back in 1988. After reading that article and seeing absolutely no shock or horror coming from the public, I realized that few other people besides Mel could have made "Passion." After all, no one doubts that he is a flawed man; his vices and addictions were well-known. He never pretended to be holier than anyone else, and I think the media respected his genuineness and his frankness. Yup.......it took a lot of front money and a strong commitment to JC both of which Gibson has. One more thing. Have you seen the articles on "The Christ" himself, Jim Caviezel? The guy is a sharp-looking man in real life, with a body that can easily woo the women. Amazing how strong his faith is (or at least should be considering his role). If I had looks like that, I probably couldn't resist becoming a very promiscuous man. o_O I think looks have very little to do with promiscuity........in spite of what Hollywood infers. Having read what Caviezel went through making this movie, I rather think he's not all that bright. Either the leaving me on the cross for an hour while everyone else ate lunch, or the getting hit by lightning or the 6 hours of make up preparation would have caused me to pack it in early on. The fact that he endured suggests he ain't playing with a full deck or forgot to ask the wizard for a brain. <g> ted
