If you are trying to build credibility with me, it's not working very well.

I'm not trying to do that John, because you lost all credibility with me when you argued that offshoring was "no big deal" 2 years ago when it reared its ugly head. Now here we are a few years later with a 550 billion dollar deficit and crashing dollar, due in large part to lack of tax receipts coupled with overspending and a national economic team that has about as much foresight as you did, then. Of course if people here on SI want to go into denial wrt jobs reports where expectations are 150K that result in actual job creation at *zero*, whats the worst that can happen? Lose a little money maybe. But when the nations economic team is this clueless, time to worry.

Whether you like it or not, the same can not be said for the majority of executive functions.

LOL- well there are legions of executives at Satyam and Infosys that would jump at the chance, right now for a US executive position that pays 10-20x their pay along with a US green card, I can assure you. According to Accel there are executives galore at every level available for a fraction of their 90s pay in almost every tech industry anyway. So no need to go offshore probably to get people at 1/4 their prior compensation package.
