Consumer Index Falls to 105.8 Investor Index Down to 124.8

Thursday April 01, 2004--The Rasmussen Consumer Index lost two-and-a-half points on Thursday to 105.8. The Index, which measures the economic confidence of American consumers on a daily basis, is down slightly from a week ago, down six from a month ago, and down seventeen from three months ago.

This statement is funny: "In one seven-day stretch, he met with national reporters once, in a session that lasted nine minutes."

I saw Kerry on CNN with Paula Zahn and taking questions on MTV during that "seven-day stretch". Both appearances lasted more than 9 minutes<G>.

Of course the article is referring to meeting with the press and taking wide ranging questions ... something Bush hasn't done in over 2 years! A new record for a President!

My prediction: Bush will never have another news conference. Two years and counting ...
