Reminds me of when I was in college and a friend of mine produced a play. The dialogue used the accent of the early Jewish immigrants into lower Manhatten (as portrayed in the book THE REST OF US ) and my roommate who was Jewish and others took the write to task for being anti-Semitic.

I experienced anti-Semiticism when I was a child growing up in a small town in Pennsylvania where there were few Jewish families . Ironic that almost all of my professional life has been working with Jewish people and there are as many divergent opinions amongst them as we see on this Board. Thinking something as your last paragraph illustrates in your post sums it all up. We are too eager to label people who hold opinions different from our own. This is why I strongly object to name calling.. e.g. pin heads...ditto heads... whatever. If there is one thing we should all learn..without pontificating... I would hope is to respect one another's opinions and stop the labeling.....

Appreciate your post.
