Right... except the payout will still be about the same, since they factor in the differential... but, a good example of how it's still less expensive in Canada, if a trucker delivers materials for a set or whatever, then you need another truck moved to another location nearby, the Canadian trucker would move the other truck, no problem... the U.S. trucker will refuse to drive any truck other than the one he brought... we might need another piece of equipment moved, but he would say his contract doesn't allow him to drive a second truck... so, he'll just sit there for the 12 hour day making a few hundred bucks for doing nothing... that's the teamster's union... we also have to provide the driver with a hot meal within 4 hours of his arrival, and he has to have a choice of hot meals, you can't just have one hot meal available, so two menus have to be prepared for the U.S. trucker so he can have a choice... some prima dona, huh...
