since I posted yesterday's midwest report PR which was negative on jobs, just for balance I am posting this one today which is much more positive. This is what the markets want. We have to have more jobs than last month and after 6 months of nothing is it too much to ask for 100K jobs? I don't know. Steel is an industry coming back due to inflation and China sucking up all supply. Inflation a double edge sword of course.

The employment component of ISM's nationwide manufacturing survey shot up last month, confounding expectations of a pull-back. A separate Labor Department report said new claims for unemployment benefits slipped last week, adding to hopes that Friday's March employment report will show employers are finally hiring.
