There are many ways to do God's work. Some become health care workers, some educators, and some producers of food for the hungry.

As I said, my friends serving in Iraq believe they are doing the good and right thing. There is no question in my mind that it takes uncommon leadership to forge ahead in the face of such fierce and disingenuous opposition.

As Bremmer scratches his head and tries to figure out how to shift blame to the UN from himself and Shrubbery, the fundamentalists are slowly but surely gaining power.

Iraqi women are in serious danger of having their rights shunted back into the middle ages and Iran is getting seriously cozy.

In the meantime, the right-wing, war-mongering, cowardly response from the safety of their living rooms is to bomb Falujah into oblivion for revenge. Unbelieveably juvenile.

Suma,

This Iraq fiasco gives a new twist to an old expression:

<font color=red><font size=5>The rich get richer and the poor get prosthetics.
