Then let them live in squalor. Why not just become a recruiter for Islamic militants, Bilow? We've learned the painful lesson that our indifference to the plight of muslims within the Middle East can result in the ultimate form of "blowback". If we're going to stand for something, why not stand for progressive and lasting change within the region? Horrendous as the casualities may be on the part of US servicemen and contract personnel, they still pale in comparison to the 3,000 innocent civilians who died on 9/11 because we failed to advocated lasting change and democracy in Afghanistan.. The result was the Taliban and their harboring of Al-Qaeda militants. The same is inevitably the outcome for many other muslim nations as the existing regimes find themselves compelled to tolerate rising militancy. Hawk
