One U.S. Soldier, One Marine Killed in Iraq Attacks

One U.S. soldier and one U.S. Marine were killed in two attacks in Iraq, the U.S. military said Friday.
The soldier with the 1st Armored Division was killed by a roadside bomb in Baghdad early Friday. A second soldier was wounded in the attack.

The Marine was killed in an attack west of the capital Thursday. No further details were given.

The deaths brought to 409 the number of U.S. troops killed in action since the start of the U.S.-led war on Iraq.
