Good news! Too bad it still isn't enough to make a dent in unemployment (the national unemployment rate inched up .1% in this morning's figures, too). Another consideration: although the BLS also revised upwards the preceding two month's numbers as well today, when you look at the most recent month... a lot of the increase was because of seasonal or 'one off' factors, such as the end of nasty winter weather, and the end of the strike at a grocery chain in CA.... Manufacturing also showed no particular improvement.
