I'm a big opteron fan and AMD stock has significantly outperformed intel in this latest correction/recovery phase or whatever it is. Those that think Sun will survive are pinning their hopes on Linux. It doesn't look good though.

elmerp, AMD saved eMachines after it failed being an Intel shop. Gateway was doing alright until they drunk the blue Kool-Aid. AMD is now going to save SUNW and Gateway from the evil Intel empire. The only question left is will DELL continue to suffer being Intel's wholesale outlet or will they start building competitive machines using AMD? Didn't you get the memo? (It's in the proxy-look at the option giveaways the board received for their performance surrounding Prescott) Steve
