Air America is very entertaining and smart. I'm impressed. It's total BS that liberals cannot be entertaining. I am so bored by the same old Hannity-Limbaugh echo chamber spin, and O'Reilly's Republican colors have been coming out of late as he attacks Clarke for no reason.

I am listening. A great number of advertisements but otherwise I would think I have RUSH on but with more tolerance and guess what, he doesn't pre interview the people who call in. How LIBERAL of him.

MARK LEVINE: THE INSIDE SCOOP RADIO PROGRAM

Scott,

Here's some of the commentary that I've made w/r/t Ed Schultz in the past:

An LA Times article on Schultz:

Keep your eyes open. I'll be looking forward to seeing how Schultz handles the Sleazza testimony next Thursday. Depending on his spin, I may be renaming him Fast Eddie Slutz. Or, hopefully, something more respectable. I'd love to be wrong about my suspicions of the man.

As far as I'm concerned the line-up on Radio Power.org
radiopower.org
is the best source for intelligent progressive analysis. Starting at Noon ET weekdays, Thom Hartmann hold forth with the most intelligent radio program I'm personally familiar with. The program is marred by excessive commercial breaks and interruptions for too-often repeated segments such as Jim Hightower's 2 Minute commentaries.

A highlight though is "Brunch With Bernie" on Fridays between 1-2 PM ET. I've called in and talked to Thom and Bernie on the air. It's quite a pleasure to know that democracy is working in certain backwaters of our over-commercialized country.

Following Thom's terrific efforts, there is a new host on a two hour segment from 3-5 PM ET named Mark Levine, hosting a show called "The Inside Scoop". I caught it for the first time today, and I was very impressed by the honesty and the perceptive banter as well as by Mark's willingness to tackle some important topics.
