The point is that with NATO and the UN acting as police and army, there would be greater security. Those settlers who did not trust the security would probably leave which would also cause a reduction in tensions The history of the UN is that they do nothing to impede the terrorists, even when the terrorist set up shop next to them, but impede Israeli reponses. UN police make great human shields for Hizbullah in Lebanon.
