Chalabi played us for complete idiots. He knew he could con the neocons because they were so desperate to have something that seemed to support their ideology and their pre-determined military "solutions". With a gullible and highly motivated group of people like the neocons, he could use them to con enough people to build support for an Iraqi invasion, no matter how misguided or disasterous for the UNited States that might be. My "fear" is that these dim lights and their con game won't end soon enough to deliver us from the policies that have set back the cause of fighting global terrorism and undermined US national security -- not to mention the young Americans that were sent to their deaths on the basis of a pack of lies. It is beyond ironic that the US Congress enabled the lies by funding Chalabi's propaganda campaign.
