Ocean shipping rates are starting to rollover from extremely high levels, but I don't think I'd call 4700 a bust yet, not even close. They are still using a lot of shipping as of today.

If it continued and we saw another drop-off in shipping into Long Beach and Los Angeles, I say we'd clearly be into the seize-up/Train Wreck. I certainly suspect it now. We might start seeing some news confirmations too.

CNBC is actually running some coverage of these cost pressure issues. Items like cheese are hurting restaurant companies. Here's one with an awful chart, money flow, and acc/dist.: CEC is Chuck E Cheese, kind of a tired brand anyway, but maybe I can't judge as my "kid" is in college now.
