It must be great being "liberal". Facts do not deter wishful thinking. Of course, I would be ashamed of myself for wishing for the destruction of the economy for political gain. Then, you must live with yourself.

The real problem developing with the economy is the surging economy of China. Resources are scarce there. Natural resource prices have been climbing worldwide due to Chinese buying. Neither GW Bush not JF Kerry will have much impact on that. GW Bush is more likely to inspire business investment though.

In the long run business likes stability, respect for property rights and freedom from excess regulation. These are Republican principals. They are foreign to the Democrat party.

There was an excellent article with explanatory graph in the Wall Street Journal today. It showed quite clearly that the demographic group of poor was better off because of Welfare reform. You may share the opinion with Teddy (hic) Kennedy, and JF (Heinz) Kerry that this is bad. The poor must kept down if they are to look to the Democrat party for salvation.
