Oh no, indeed. If NATO or anybody else tried that, they would have a war on their hands in a hurry.

Somehow I doubt that... Maybe HAMAS, but not the average Palestinian.

The fact is that such a large quantity of foreign troops stationed in that area would be a huge boon to their economy. Along with the obvious financial assistance that would accompany it..

And again, I'm not saying this would be a walk in the park, but there's something to be said when an entire organization like NATO, operating under political cover of the UN, is engaged in an operation.. It would be political (if not physical) suicide to oppose it.

P*ss off NATO forces, or target them for mass armed resistance, and you'd quickly see world support for the Palestinian cause shrivel to nothing...

And then the Israelis would be able to have their way with the matter and few would complain, now wouldn't they?
