Say goodbye to Tony Soprano, Soap Operas, Chris Rock, Saturday night live. Somebody else gets to pick who to fine.

Geezus... I highly doubt that the FCC is going to get their hands on pay cable.. The precedent would be incredible, granting Federal control over all kinds of private "for pay" media, including streaming video.

We're talking about public airwaves, which anyone can receive. That's the primary, if sole, venue of the FCC..

But I'll ask a buddy of mine who works over there what the scoop is..

How did you feel about the erectile disfunction commercials talking about erections lasting more than 4 hours should be reported to the Doctor.

About as much as I enjoyed having Cathy Rigby touting Stayfree Maxi-pads..

Or Trojan commercials...

But they are promoting it as a medicine for a medical condition, not as some form of Spanish Fly (though I know a few people who use it for that purpose.. :0)

And to paraphrase Rita Rudner... I wouldn't want to anything that feels good for that long...
