Hello Iqbal:

As a long time lurker and admirer of your posts and the Economic musings, I want to thank you for your insightful comments about the markets and capitalism.

Your example and analogy of portfolio investments flowing into a country vs. hiring a house cleaner is right on the money.

Please keep up the good work!

Re: Finally, imagine that the worker is being asked to clean a house that has been colonised by venomous snakes.

Is this a White House joke?

Well, well, well, ...according to PBS, Richard Clark was instrumental in hastening the withdrawal of our troops from Rwanda just before the genocide. How will he wash that blood off his hands? I wonder if he'll explain it away in his next book?
