Same question for AOL. Probably one of the only reasons I've kept AOL. Is there a way to get my old emails read or archived if I don't have aol in the future?

If you are using Outlook you can set it up to receive hotmail and synchronize your folders. Once you do that just go to file import export -> and you should be able to export the file to another web based email.

The above is for Outlook not OE. I assume OE has the same functionality.

Don't know about hotmails virus filtering properties.
