lurqer: Interesting perspective...thanks for sharing it...You are right about how at times some never seem to learn...Think about the price our country (and the world) is paying for our adventure over in Iraq -- its a HUGE SACRIFICE in blood and treasure...are we any safer today...? Has our country really enhanced its credibility around the world...? Have we made any progress dealing with real issues like energy independence and the Arab-Israeli conflict...? What could we have done with the $150 Billion we have spent so far in Iraq...? Last time I checked there still was a tremendous amount of poverty around the world. I guess our current leaders are committed to supporting the MIC (Military Industrial Complex)...Bill Moyers had an excellent interview with John Dean last night -- I wish more Americans had heard it.
