Sure, why not if the US has decided to be the world's police, then it is justified that a non-US born, full time legal resident [not to mention tax paying] individual, (provided he/she is lawfully elected by the US citizens [and why not, legal residents]), could be eligible for the office of the Prez....

Perhaps indeed, if this country was created by the brilliance, balls, guts, etc. of those who came from other countries, and collectively have created great things, [thanks to the individual effort] in many other fields, it is only logical that it could do a lot of good to the entrenched, stale, and stinky hole that Washington DC is... namely the politicians...

After all, they have well proven that are a bagful of inefficient idiots, misfits, goons, sex-maniacs, and wacko-zealots...

What could we all possibly lose ?? -LOL!!

the religious nuts

Exactly... no difference between say... a Tom DeLay, Orrin Hatch and the Ayatollah Arsahola, Yasser Arafart and the rest of the fanatics brigade...

Of course... it is too logical and reasonable... it will never fly... the zombie-mobs would never go for it... they are far too scared and comfortable, in spite of the fact that they are being regularly arse-rimmed by their "familiar" 'all-American' patriotic representatives...
