The aim of speech codes is to diminish the use of hate words on campus, the n word being the most obvious.

This may have been. Although I think it was not that simple. But even if if was, it is ILLEGAL to do so under the First Admendment. The Administrations used to get away with it, but they won't anymore.

Every time a University goes to court on this, they lose. In fact, most settle this side of court in an attempt to keep some part of the code alive.

In actual practice, these codes are being used by the minority/gender students to oppress other students. That is what usually brings matters to a head.

The pedagogy involved is colored by the fact that in the SS and Liberal Arts departments, every survey shows 95% of the faculties tends to be left. The viewpoint they are teaching from is colored by that viewpoint. If we had more moderate or right Profs, both sides would be represented on campus. You have stated before that the present Profs are not presenting one side. Student feedback on campus after campus says otherwise.
