People are not behind Kerry, they are against Bush. Kerry does not have strong support and the Kenneth's and AS's of the world are concerned. they know things are not looking good for Kerry. He is blowing his chances. No doubt about it. But his handlers are doing the right thing and that is keeping his public appearances to a minimum. They are killing him when he moves of the script.
