Blix: "Cheney said inspections are useless at best."
Another big Cheney lie. Cheney claimed Iraq had all kinds of WMD and was an immediate threat. The inspections it turned out had done the job after all. This is the same kind of thing sad Cheney dismissing conservation. Whatever common sense solutions stand in the way of his arch rightwing agenda are poo-poo'ed. Now he's poo-pooing Kerry as weak on defense. Another big lie. Hard to believe that 10 years ago I actually admired Cheney. Now I consider him to be the most dangerous man in America, maybe even the world.

What an interview! It is nice to hear the truth. I actually doubled checked the date to make sure it wasn't a joke it is so honest. He all but says Cheney is President and Bush his flunky.

Q: Do you like the phrase ''weapons of mass destruction''?

Blix: It is a very poor phrase, because it lumps together chemical, biological and nuclear weapons, which are very different.

Me: Conflating Nukes with other weapons was either a major strategic blunder by Bush, or it was a way to lie to the American people. Is Bush stupid or outright dishonest? That is the question.
