Remember that month where 1,000 jobs were created? The problem is that so many jobs were lost and so many people have been out of work for so long, a single month, or two or three barely makes a dent.

With the entry of new workers into the job force (approx 150K/month) this would have put less than 2% of the regular unemployed back to work. In addition, the number of those working part time but who want to work full time went up.

I still can't believe Youngstown has an unemployment rate of 16%.
