So ... If Kerry had been President, he wouldn't have blundered and invaded Iraq. Kerry would have allowed the inspectors more time.

But, after Bush decided to invade, Kerry supported the President.

Kerry has always had the same position about disarming Saddam. I've personally heard him talking about it two years ago, one year ago and recently. It's a rightwing myth borrowed from Howard DEan that JK has changed his position. He was for disarming Saddam with a threat of real force but only invading as a last resort after all inspections and threats were done with, and then only in a well prepared way, with a post-war plan and broad coalition. Also, only invading because we HAVE to not because we want to.
