Yes, but Intel did have all those conferences a year or so ago to explain to the manufacturers what they'd have to do to make their products RAS. (WB explained how important that all was...)

Sounds to me like R is falling apart and without that there isn't much A.

I think by now we've all here pretty much come to the conclusion that the S part doesn't work so well either.

A long time ago *He who must not be Named* told us all about how the CPU was the most important part in a computer and the MOBO was just a $99 holding device.

Going to be interesting to try to warranty or RMA an LGA MOBO... (Do you leave the CPU in it so the MFGR. can verify no removal has taken place?)

Maybe the springs will make good HO scale model parts?
