Jan,

I tried that with various E-mail programs such as Netscape 4.76 and MS Outlook. The result is the same. Applied each one, shut down machine and then restarted. Nothing changed.
Guess I will live with problem until I get the nerve to reinstall IE 6.0 which should contain fresh copy of Outlook Express.
