Could you supplement your post with a few more facts?

Exactly when during 2002 did Saxe make his sale of stock? I notice that throughout most of 2002 the stock price varied between $10-$15/share. Of course, you realize that no insider is obliged to notify shareholders before the fact. They are most certainly required to register the sale with the SEC in a timely manner after the sale has been made.

Also, you mention that Saxe & Harary did the same thing in 1998 & 1999, but you did not mention the number of shares sold nor the price it was sold at. I'm sure you have all this information at your fingertips. Could you share it with us?

Also, in the interest of fairness, if the insider selling of stock is considered a negative wouldn't you consider insider buying of stock a positive?
