Paul - I'll emerge from lurk mode long enough to second UU and suggest two other income stocks LYG and CHT.

Both are core holdings in my retirement income portfolio. The share appreciation has been a welcome surprise since I bought them for yield in Sept of last year.

I'm also starting to sell interest-rate sensitive stocks, starting with regional banks which have had a good run. As we were reminded last week, where interest-rate exposure is concerned the market will shoot first and ask questions later.

I'm very quick to sell when a sector weakens. This portfolio is the equity from selling our house and we are living on the income. "In the long run we are all dead."
