BAGHDAD, Iraq - Seven U.S. soldiers were killed Sunday in fighting with Shiite militiamen in the Baghdad neighborhood of Sadr City, the U.S. military said.

At least 24 other American troops were wounded, the military said in a written statement.

My comment: very sad. Iraq is falling apart. "Shiite militiamen" ... so much for the Sunni lie.

From what I heard, there is a stupid law (passed in 1960's) that the ballot should be printed in each language if the segment of population speaking that language exceeds some threshhold (don't know what that is).

While the purpose is to make democracy and voting process easy for people whose mother tongue is not english, I do not agree with it.
