I was concerned as my sister is looking to buy a rental property I am in a similar situation. I have elderly parents who have a real swish house looking to sell it. They don't have much income, but are putting in tons of money into making it look good before selling it. I also have lots of near and dear ones looking to buy first homes. I am an admitted gold bug -g- However I am concerned about the markets in general. I am hoping the house sells work out and the house buys are delayed. Buying in the lower end should be be a lessor risk I think.
