This is all we need a Civil War to get caught up in. Talk about a quagmire. If this does happen look for more Americans to be killed. I notice we lost about six today.

This is Sadr's guys rising, not Shi'ites in general. Sadr controls a militant minority among the Shi'a. My guess is that Sistani will try to put the lid back on things, because it's very much in his own interest to avoid an American clamp-down. Things go okay til June 30, and the Shia will be the big winners, and Sistani biggest of all. If there's an uprising & a clamp-down, all bets are off. So I expect to see mediation efforts.
