Her response was "I'll talk to the vice president about it." And this tracks with Clarke's testimony and writing that even at this late date, nothing was being done inside the White House.<<< Au contraire, everything was being done --- to channel all info to Dick Cheney.

What Cheney and the tight circle around Bush are protecting is the myth they have created since 9/11 of a war president astride the world stage.
