I wonder how many of those Shrubbery would like to send to Baghdad.

Of course, that's all part of the grand plan. People who are well educated, employed and have a vested interest in their future at home in the U.S., aren't going to enlist in Republican wars of plunder, like the one we're engaged in Iraq at the moment. In Bush and his wealthy cronies eyes, these armies of unemployed are to be used to gain control of the world's resources. What difference does it make to them if these poor working slobs die in a foreign war of conquest or die right here at home in one of their factories, creating wealth? It doesn't. Which is why unemployment has never been a concern of the ruling elite who run this country. Unemployed people are easier to manipulate into wars and help keep wages down in the process. Best of both worlds in the upper crust's view of life.
