He did support a decision to authorize force as the President determined. And he said afterward that he supported the war:

...when the President made the decision, I supported him...(ABC News, Democrat Presidential Candidate Debate, Columbia, SC, 5/4/03)

Kerry should have the courage to stand by his positions. We don't need a weak President changing direction with every gust of wind.
