The terrorists weren't terrorizing us before we started stationing troops in their holy land of Saudi Arabia in the early 1990s. And, we're there because of all the oil in that region. So, yes I believe that if we kicked our Middle East oil habit (certainly something we're technologically capable of doing in this decade), pulled our troops out and settled the Isreali/Palestinian conflict (how about witholding $2 Billion in aid for Isreal to force them to the barganing table?), the terrorism would subside. What would there beef be with us at that point? It's our choice to make. But, as long as people like you blindly support whatever backwardass policy our government is pursuing (like continung our oil dependence and starting wars in the Middle East), nothing is going to change for the better.
