Now you literally CANNOT notice how a an Arab Muslim population might react differently to the same stimuli, the same occupation, as say, an Assyrian Christian population.

Nadine, just what is it about Arab culture that makes their reaction to our occupation different? You mentioned ingratitude. Is that a prominent characteristic of Arab culture or is that just the manifestation of the salient characteristic?

I'm interested in your point because I don't see the Iraqi reaction to occupation as essentially different to what mine might be were I similarly situated, if, for example, the Soviets stepped in to bail the US out and then occupied our country until we could reinvent ourselves more along the lines of their system.
