Colin Powell lost my respect when HE FAILED TO RESIGN before helping to lead our country into an elective war based on lies and misinformation. He knew Iraq did not pose an "imminent threat"...He knew that the intelligence was not airtight...He knew that the CIA had said that by invading Iraq we may end up in a riskier situation and fuel terrorism in the islamic world...He knew by following the NeoCONservatives' agenda we would antagonize most of our major allies around the world. Yet, Colin Powell failed to stand up for what was right for our country -- He should have resigned BEFORE going to The United Nations and he should have said that the war with Iraq was not appropriate and necessary given the risks and information available.
