my role in creating "the problem"??? i was told by SI bob a long time ago that as long as it remained on this thread and did not spill over to others, he would be more lax with us and the TOU (but only on this thread). If this has changed, I'd like to know because i was never informed of such a change if that's the case?? bottom line is that you tossed out the first insult after butting into a discussion that you were not a part of. when they responded with a similar tone and language, you got mad, threw a tantrum, and used your position of power to bully them. that's simply not right. it's an abuse of power. if that's how it's going to be, fine. it's bob's site and he placed you in a position of authority for some unknown reason. but tossing somebody off the site whenever you feel like it or it suits your ego is no way to run a business that relies on the free posting of thoughts by others. repeated stunts like the one that occurred this weekend will very quickly ruin this place. that i promise you. its bad enough that this site doesn't even work half the time. as for the number of emails and PMs that you have gotten supporting what this little stunt you pulled this weekend: as i'm sure you are aware, there are always a few who celebrate upon the punting of anybody and just as many others feel the opposite. would you care to post these emails and PMs that you've received (with names of those who sent them omitted of course)? i'm sure i have just as many from people who are fairly shocked and disturbed by this abuse of power. care to share?

btw- any update on when the SI search function is going to work again? its ben about 3 weeks since it went down
