That extra month explains your impression of the baby's size. That one month, adds a lot. You sister's baby weighed about five ounces and was about 4 3/4 inches long, according to what I find on the net about the 17 week stage. Development takes place very fast at this point. I think you did the right thing, Ryan, in not asking your sister. It would make her sad. I'm so glad she has a little four year old now. That pregnancy must have entailed a lot of anxiety for her and her husband.
