I find it very interesting, and not at all coincidental, that you'd leave your self-imposed hiatus from SI just for the purpose of flogging Clarke's book. Also interesting, and not at all coincidental, that you're fussing and fuming that the rest of us want to move on.

Clarke had his 15 minutes of fame. He'd have sold more books and done more harm if he could have waited until October, but alas, it was March, and now it's April, and time marches inexorably forward.

With all due respect to Laurie Mylroie, who may actually be the voice in the wilderness she thinks she is, NRO has trotted her conspiracy theories out, and methinks the fat lady has sung the swan song for Richard Clarke. He's as old news as Valerie Plame (remember her?) Fame is so cruel, so fickle, so fleeting.
