What I did tend to think was that we would be welcomed. Then I see that the whole incident of the statue of Saddam being torn down was STAGED.. I didn't see a welcoming that we were told would transpire... I am a World War II participant in the I grew up in that era and the welcome our troops received when they marched into cities everyone could trust. .The movie theaters had pictures of flowers being thrown....We were truly LIBERATORS Now I feel as though we are intruders and not appreciated at all and everyday more men are dying. Very sad. I just hope it all isn't utterly useless...
